Build a Church?!? Build facilities for community...

A lot of people have asked me if we intend on building a "church" in Escondido. And what they mean by this is if we are going to build a facility. We do plan on building up the "church" in Escondido by sharing the love of God with the people in the community, encouraging them to come to repentance, and helping them become a part of the body of Christ, being the church.

But in response to the facility question, yes, eventually we plan on building a facility.

One of the pieces of our vision for the Branches is to build a facility that can be used by community groups in Escondido. We want to build a food pantry, clothing bank, coffee shop, book shop, office space, meeting places, skate park, etc. We would like for the community to use our facility during the week to have exercise classes, meetings, sporting events, plays, musicals, concerts, dinners, etc. In short we want to be a resource to our community. This is just one of the ways we will be the church to the community of Escondido.
